Diab wanted to keep the matter a secret, but sources leaked the information to the media.
The new newspaper will be called “Fe Al Shari’” (In The Street). The newspaper will follow mostly political issues, although it is still unclear as to how it will stand in relation to the Egyptian government.
As for his music news, Diab will release his new album on 14 June. Its release was postponed several times. The new album was scheduled to be released at the end of 2008, then the date was moved to February and after it was moved to April, and now the date is set for June.
It is needless to say that the new album will be released by ‘Rotana’ since Diab had renewed his contract with the famous music production company and ‘Rotana’ will release five new albums for the artist.
